  • Cost for Nexus Properties student housing is per student and per semester; this information can be found in our license agreement, on Rowan's Housing page.

  • Nexus student apartments are available to Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students can apply to live in the student apartments as long as they are enrolled in Rowan University and with Rowan's Housing Department.

  • Accessibility to apartment suites & floors is provided through an electronic FOB system. You will need your FOB to gain access to each of the student elevators, stairways, and to your apartment suite. Gaining access to each individual bedroom is by key.

  • Requests for new fobs or bedroom keys can be submitted by email to: studentlife@nexusproperties.com. Loss of a FOB or key will result in a charge of $20 for the FOB and $25 for the key and must be paid prior to receiving a new FOB or key. Fees for replacement keys are NON-Refundable.

  • If someone other than yourself is in possession of your FOB, you are at risk of losing building/apartment access privileges.

  • Cable, internet, utilities, and trash removal are included in your semester rate. Students can upgrade the apartment’s cable and internet services directly with the provider for an additional monthly cost to Verizon FiOS.

  • Yes, parking permits in the Rowan Blvd Parking Garage and Mick Drive Garage can be purchased from the University on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • The cancellation policy mirrors Rowan University’s cancellation policy, maintaining the same deadlines and costs. Specific information can be found in your license agreement through Rowan's page.

  • If you withdraw from the University, you are no longer eligible to live in student housing. You may be eligible to apply for Luxury Apartment living, providing you meet the income requirements and application criteria.

  • The building will be managed by the owner. Maintenance emergencies such as electrical and water issues should be handled by calling the emergency maintenance number 856-628-5654. All other requests for maintenance will be handled through a request form on the website: nexusglassboro.com/request-maintenance

  • Yes, the units are fully furnished. Amenities specific to each Nexus student building can be found in the amenities section for that building.

  • In our experience, the use of the wall-putty and “command strips” for hanging things on the walls resulted in enough damage necessitating the repair and repainting of the walls at the end of the academic year. If you are going to hang things on the walls, please use thumb-tacks (sparingly). The use of anything else to hang things on the walls is “use as your own risk” and will likely result in a damage charge.

  • Kitchens include a stainless-steel refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher

  • No, pets are not allowed in the buildings. Service pets/emotional support animals are permitted in the buildings but must be registered through the university prior to entering the building.

  • Yes, we have spaces that offer ADA compliant features such as visual sounders and handrails/shower seats for mobility impaired students. If you have an accommodation need, please contact Rowan’s Office of Accessibility Services to pursue getting a housing accommodation.

  • 220 Rowan Blvd, 230 Victoria Street, 223 High Street, 114 Victoria and 57 N. Main, the suite and the student unit are smoke free. Student and guests shall not, at any time, light, use or smoke cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, pipes or other tobacco products anywhere in or about the buildings, including, without limitation, the building, suite, student unit, parking areas, entrances, passages, walkways, lobbies, courts, elevators, vestibules, stairways, corridors and halls. This non-smoking policy may lead to the termination of this agreement. Student understands, acknowledges and accepts this non-smoking policy.

  • Yes, through a collaboration agreement with Rowan University. Rowan will bill students for housing and Nexus Properties will then collect the payment from Rowan University.

  • The term of this contract is for the entire academic year. It’s possible to stay in your apartment suite during university breaks, if you meet all criteria. Graduating students must vacate upon graduation.

  • Wi-Fi is accessible in lounge areas, study rooms, building lobby, and through your apartment's wireless router.

  • Nexus Student Communities now has preinstalled dedicated Verizon Super-fast FIOS Gigabit Connection for every apartment unit. Already installed and online! Wired speeds up to 940/880 Mbps with avg. speeds between 750-940 Mbps download / 750-880 Mbps upload. Wired & wireless speeds may vary due to device limits, multiple users, network & other factors. TV services are not included and are the responsibility of the Student via streaming services and devices utilizing the Verizon FIOS Gigabit Connections.

  • Factory Reset your TV through the Menu using the Remote.

  • No, it is not the University network, however the high-speed internet is provided in the building by a contracted ISP.

  • Lounge areas and study rooms are open to all students in the building. We do not have a reservation system.

  • Yes, Nexus student apartments mirror Rowan University's guest policy allowing for no more than an allotted number of consecutive nights and at the discretion of all roommates in the apartment. Guests are the responsibility of the resident of the building that they are visiting and will need to be escorted throughout and into the building at all times.

  • All room requests must be discussed with the Housing Department at Rowan University.

  • Each room or apartment is furnished with window blinds. We do not recommend that you bring your own window treatments.

  • Air conditioners and dehumidifiers are not permitted in Nexus apartments. Air purifiers are permitted in the building.

  • Single room beds are double size or 53” x 78”.
