Seward Johnson Sculptures Walking Tour

Seward Johnson was a visionary artist and founder of the Johnson Atelier and Grounds For Sculpture, who built a global, collaborative community for artists. His work evolved over time through innovative materials and techniques, ranging from patinated to hyper-realistic finishes. Though he passed away in 2020, his legacy continues through the Atelier, which preserves his work, supports artists, and promotes creativity through collaboration, education, and public engagement.

The Borough of Glassboro, in conjunction with Nexus Properties, is excited to announce the installation of five life-like sculptures along Rowan Blvd. and throughout Town Square. Depicting scenes of everyday life, these works are part of the fourth installation of a rotating Seward Johnson Sculptures Walking Tour in Glassboro, NJ. A map outlining the sculpture locations and descriptions is available below.
